FUNERAL RITES HELD FRIDAY FOR B. DICE

Funeral service for Bruce Dice, 76, who died Sept. 26, in the Jackson county hospital, was held at 2 p.m. Friday at the farm home near Maquoketa. The Rev. Herbert Schaeffer officiated and burial was in Union cemetery.

Mr. Dice was born may 2, 1875, in Clinton county, the son of Sam and Harriet Jenkins Dice. He was married Dec. 18, 1901, in Clinton county to Cornelia Phillips, who preceded him in death in 1943. He was a member of the Masonic lodge, Order of Eastern Star and the Knights Templar.

He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Helen Kinrade, of near Maquoketa; one sister, Nellie Dice of Maquoketa; and one grandson, Bruce Kinrade.
