MRS. EDW. HARDER DIES; SERVICES ON THURSDAY HERE

Mrs. Albert Harder, 52, died Sunday morning at the Jackson County Public hospital following an extended illness.

Funeral services for Mrs. Harder were held this (Thursday) afternoon at two o'clock in the Carson funeral home here. The Rev. Milton H. Nothdruft, pastor of the Maquoketa Methodist church, officiated. Interment was made in the Zwingle cemetery.

The former Anna Etta Denlinger, daughter of the late Isaac and Mary Etta Clark Denlinger, she was born Sept. 16, 1899 in Zwingle. On Dec. 26, 1939, she was married in Dubuque to Albert Harder, who preceded her in death.

Survivors include two sons and three daughters by a previous marriage William and Robert Flagel, Mrs. Alva Jeffers and Mrs. Myrtle Currie, all of Maquoketa, and Mrs. Betty Briggs of Vinton, two daughters, Darlene and Arlene at home; four brothers, Bert of Ottumwa, George and Irvin of Dubuque and Will at Waterloo; two sisters, Mrs. Leone Saunders of Rock Island, Ill., and Mrs. Marcella Brunn of Zwingle and 17 grandchldren.
