MRS. JAMES MURRAYMrs. James Murray, 65, of 435 11th Ave. S., died about 8:50 a.m. today in Mercy hospital where she had been a patient for the past three days. The body is in the Snell funeral home where friends may call beginning Wednesday at 3 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home with Dr. L. D. Havighurst, pastor of the First Methodist church, officiating. Burial will be in Clinton Memorial Park.
Dollie Louella Hogg, was born Jan. 1, 1891, in Jackson county, the daughter of Robert S. and Mary Jane Dutton Hogg. She lived most of her life in and near Maquoketa and had made her home in Clinton for the past 10 years. She was married to James Murray of Maquoketa Feb. 22, 1912. She was a member of the First Methodist church, the V.F.W. auxiliary, Rebekah lodge and the Navy Mothers club.
Surviving are her husband, three sons, Merlin James of San Francisco, Calif., Ralph Leon of Miami, Fla., and Kenneth at home; one daughter, Mrs. John (Mildred) Pedesco, Chicago, Ill.; two grandchildren; one brother, Edward Hogg of Monmouth, and three sisters, Mrs. Olive Augmeyer, Dubuque, Mrs. Viola Edwards, Mt. Pleasant and Mrs. Charles (Clara) Clark, Maquoketa.
She was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers.
