MRS. A. L. SCHOCKER SERVICES ARE HELD ON FEBRUARY 14TH

Funeral services for Mrs. A. L. Schocker, 82, who passed away Feb. 11 at Jackson County Public hospital, were held the following Tuesday afternoon, Feb. 14, at two o'clock at the Carson funeral home, Rev. Bruce Dean, Pastor of the Congregational church, officiated.

The former Cora E. White was born near Decatur, Ill., April 23, 1873, and was the daughter of Alfred E. and Frances Scott White. She was married to A. L. Schocker of Maquoketa in Clinton, Ill., on Sept. 3, 1896. She was a member of the Congregational church. She had lived in and near Maquoketa most of her life, with the exception of eight years in Calamus. For the past year she had made her home with a daughter, Mrs. Raymond Siegel of Andrew.

Pallbearers were Donald Gurius, Charles Porter, Frank Springer, Will Rockrohr, Ernest Siegel and Raymond Keeney. Burial was in Mt. Hope cemetery.

Surviving are the husband and three daughters, Mrs. Lester Scott of Maquoketa, Mrs. Ernest Scott of Bryant and Mrs. Raymond Siegel of Andrew. Also five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters.
