MARGARET RIEDEINGER FUNERAL SERVICE WILL BE FRIDAY

Mrs. Margaret Riedinger, 88, died at 7:10 p.m. Tuesday, April 27, at Mercy hospital in Cedar Rapids. Funeral service will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Carson Balster funeral home, Mrs. Dell Pulley, First Church of Christ Scientist, reader. Burial will be in Mt. Hope cemetery.

Margaret Wurster was born at Galena, Ill., June 17, 1859, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Wurster. She moved to Jackson county with her parents when quite young and most of her life was spent in this community.

She was married to William Riedinger Jan. 5, 1888, and their home was on a farm east of town until 1909 when they retired and became residents of Maquoketa. Since the death of her husband, Feb. 9, 1916, she has made her home with her daughters. She was a member of the First Church of Christ Scientist of Maquoketa.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Bertha I. Moeller of Cedar Rapids and Mrs. Ruby M. Johnson of Oakland, Calif.; two brothers, Chris Wurster of Cedar Falls and John of Maquoketa; her step mother, Mrs. Minnie Wurster; a half brother, Otto Wurster, and three half sisters, Mrs. Minnie Hurst, Mrs. Lydia Meyers and Mrs. Lena Sternberg.
