REGENWITHER DIES OF INJURIES FROM AUTO ACCIDENT

Peter M. Regenwether died in the Jackson county hospital at 6 p.m. Monday as a result of injuries received in a car accident Sunday.

Funeral service was held at 9 a.m. Thursday in the Sacred Heart church in Maquoketa. Burial was made in the Sacred Heart cemetery.

Mr. Regenwether was born on Aug. 23, 1884, a son of John and Catherine Entringer Regenwether. He was married at Springbrook on Jan. 14, 1913 to Elizabeth Wagener who preceded him in death in March 1950.

He is survived by one daughter, Delores Till of Maquoketa; five brothers, Michael of Maquoketa, John and Tony of Spragueville, and Jake and Joe of Clinton, and a sister, Mary Hansen of Miles.

He was also preceded by a brother and a sister.
