MRS. ADDIE YOUNG DIES IN HOME HERE; RITES SATURDAY
Funeral services for Mrs. Addie Young, 71, who died Thursday afternoon in her home at 120 No. Eliza street, here were held Saturday afternoon at two o'clock in the Haylock-OHara funeral home. The Rev. Bruce S. Dean, pastor of the First Congregational Church, officiated. Burial was made in Mt. Hope cemetery.
As Addie Mae Sherbine, Mrs. Young was born Dec. 31, 1880, in Maquoketa, the daughter of the late Jacob and Anna Sherbine. On April 1, 1899, she was married in Maquoketa to Elzia Palmer. He died in 1900. She was married in 1912 to Clyde Young, who survives.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter of her first marriage, Mrs. Harry Weede of Maquoketa, and a grandson. A brother also preceded her in death.
