MRS. MARY JACOBS, MAQUOKETA, DIES

Mrs. Mary "Laly" Jacobs, 65, died early today at her home here, following a lingering illness.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the home with the Rev. George F. Barsalou officiating.

The decedent was born in Brandon township, Jackson county July 17, 1872. She married George A. Jacobs April 20, 1891. He died in July 1899. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Clinton Daudel of Andrew; three brothers, Dr. F. J. Swift, commandant of the State Soldiers' home at Marshalltown and Will and Alvie, both of Maquoketa.
