Funeral service was held Monday for Mrs. Gene Roush who died early Friday morning in her home in the Esgate community.

Services were held in the Carson-Balster funeral home with the Rev. Herbert Shafer of Delmar officiating.

Nellie Josephine Roush was born at Iron Hill on Oct. 2, 1890. She was the daughter of Atwood and Lucy Clark Morehead. On March 9, 1909, she was married to Gene Roush who survives.

She is also survived by two daughters, Mrs. Geraldine McCaslin and Mrs. Marjorie Johnson, both of Chicago, Ill., a brother, Clarence Morehead of Maquoketa, and two sisters, Mrs. Ada Kehn of Delmar and Mrs. Ruth Hute of Maquoketa.

A son, one brother, three sisters and her parents preceded her in death.
