Death Calls Grand Old LadyNotwithstanding the long weeks of patient suffering and Christian fortitude, the hand of death touched one of our midst yesterday morning, but was unwelcomed. Mrs. E. N. Roush wished to live, because she ever found much to live for; her home ties were sweet and the environs of life held for her a charm which had become a part of her very self, and her heart was ever coupled with the loved ones who are now left to mourn the loss of a loving wife and mother. The vacant chair, emblematic of one who was loyal to home and friends, true to those ties which bind the heartstrings of loved ones, serves now as a monument to her who so ably, so lovingly, filled that sacred place.
