Mrs. Joel Reyner Dies This Morning At Monmouth Home

Mrs. Joel Reyner, 79, passed away at her home near Monmouth this morning at 1:50 o'clock following a several days illness of flu. The body was moved to the Carson-Balster funeral home and services will be held Friday at 2 p. m. at the family home with Rev. H. N. Throckmorton, pastor of the Baptist church officiating. Interment will be made in the Canton cemetery.

Mary Jane Reyner, the daughter of Samuel Gilmore and Mary Sawyer, was born in Jackson county on Oct. 19, 1861. She was united in marriage to Joel Reyner on Aug. 29, 1880, and they celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary last summer.

Left to mourn her loss besides the husband are five daughters, Mrs. Ida Kettelsen, Mrs. Simon Kane, Mrs. Teresa Griswold, Miss Grace Reyner and Mrs. Jessie Hannahs.

She was preceded in death by two daughters, Myrtle and Ethel.
