PRESTON LADY DIES
The sudden death of Mrs. Mary Assmussen of Preston comes as a shock to her many friedsn who thought her to be enjoying good health. Wednesday night she retired about 10 o'clock feeling well as usual, but about 11 o'clock she arose, and went to the home of her neighbor, Mrs. Black, complaining of not feeling well. Mrs. Black returned home with her, summoned her daughter and friends, who did everything possible to relieve her, but she passed away at one o'clock.
The funeral services will be held Saturday, at 2 p.m. from the Lutheran church, Rev. W.P. Sandrock officiating.
