MAQUOKETA — Marian J. Bisinger, 82, of Maquoketa, died Friday at her home.

Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Maquoketa.

She was born March 6, 1925, in Hurstville to Raymond and Mary Hansen Nagele. She married Otto J. Bisinger on April 22, 1946, in Maquoketa.

She was a 1943 graduate of Maquoketa High School.

She and her husband farmed in the Andrew area. She also worked as a dispatcher for the Maquoketa Police Department for almost 20 years before retiring in 1987.

She was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church, Andrew, Iowa.

Survivors include her husband; children, Robert (Claudia) Bisinger of Maquoketa and Thomas (Mary) Bisinger of Bettendorf; and two grandchildren.

A Marian J. Bisinger Memorial Fund has been established.

She was preceded in death by her parents and stepfather.
