DEATH OF INFANT SON
The sympathy of many friends is extended to Mr. and Mrs. Claude Harrington who mourn the death of their seventeen months old baby son who passed out of this life Friday afternoon at the hospital at Iowa City, where he had been taken the first of the week for medical care.
Roderick Leigh Harrington, little son of Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Claude Harrington was born in Maquoketa, December 21, 1923 and died in the hospital at Iowa City May 22, 1925 at the age of seventeen months. The little lad was not only of sunny hair and fair complxion, but was of a dear, loving and sunny disposition. Not only to the family but many friends found their hearts drawn to the little fellow.
Besides his parents he leaves his little brother Arnold and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. M. S. Round of Emeline and Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Harrington of Delmar.
There's a home for little children
Above the bright blue sky.
Where Jesus reigns,
A home of peace and joy;
No home on earth is like it,
Nor can with it compare;
For everyone is happy
Nor could be happier there.
