Funeral rites held here Thursday for Freeman Chrysler.
Freeman Chrysler, 76, died Monday night at Mercy Hospital in Davenport, following a short illness. Funeral services were held at 9 a.m. Thursday at Sacred Heart Church, Rev. W.A. Kunkel officiating. Burial was in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
The deceased was born August 12, 1876, and for many years had resided in Maquoketa where he had been employed as a carpenter with G.L.Stockham. His wife passed away several years ago. Surviving are four children: Leita McDonald of Chicago, Alvern Chrysler of Grand Rapids, Mich., Valda John, Ames, and Kenneth Chrysler of Galatia, Ill. (The Jackson Sentinel, December 13, 1946.)
