LAURA COFFIN
Furneral services were held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, May 2, 1973 at the United Methodist Church in Monmouth for Laura COFFIN, 78, of Monmouth who died Monday at the Jackson County Public Hospital. The Reverend James Campbell officiated and burial was in the Monmouth Cemetery. Haylock O'Hara Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Laura COFFIN was born May 4, 1894 in Maquoketa to William and Mary BECK WEETS. On March 21, 1916 she married Frank A. COFFIN in Maquoketa. She was a member of the Monmouth Woman's Club.
She is survived by two sons, Donald of Maquoketa and Glen of Hoffman Estates, Illinois; on sister, Mrs. Gertrude MUDD of Maquoketa and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers and one sister.
