NETTIE H. PETERSEN
Nettie H. PETERSEN, 89, of Maquoketa, died Wednesday in Jackson County Public Hospital.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Carson Funeral Home, Maquoketa, with the Rev. Richard Kamper, First Lutheran Church, officiating. Visitation will be from noon until the service hour Saturday in the funeral home. Burial will be in Esgate Cemetery, rural Maquoketa.
Mrs. PETERSEN was born Nov. 4, 1900, in Jackson County to Marion and Mary SHIELDS HAYWARD. She married Engvirt PETERSEN, Feb. 14, 1924, in Maquoketa. He died July 9, 1970. She was employed as a clerk in a Maquoketa dime store.
Survivors include a son LeRoy "Pete" of Warrenburg, Mo.; a daughter, Dixie BRUNSCHEEN; a brother, Walter HAYWARD of Maquoketa; and two sisters, Opal ANGLE and Elsie WEIGEL, both of Maquoketa.
She was preceded in death by a brother and an infant daughter.
DEATH DATE: Feb. 1990 (Maybe on the 14th)
