MRS. F. BOYLE DIES; RITES HELD, CHICAGO
Mrs. Frank BOYLE, 76, of Chicago, died June 12 in the home of a daughter following a brief illness. A former Maquoketan, she was the former Dora PETERSEN.
Funeral services were held on June 15 from the Matz funeral home in Chicago, with internment made in Elmwood cemetery. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church and the Ben Hur chapter of the Eastern Star.
She was born Nov. 24, 1878, in Denmark, a daughter of the late Chris and Johanna JENSEN PETERSEN. She came to the United States with her parents in 1880. On Dec. 28, 1898, she was married in Chicago to Frank BOYLE. He died Dec. 26, 1929.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Clarence (Lillian) MEYER of Chicago, two grandchildren, Robert and Marilyn MEYER; two great-grandchildren, Janet and Nancy MEYER, all of Chicago; five brothers, Nels of Idaho Falls, Ida., Hans of Parker, So. Dak., Pete of Hurley, So. Dak., and Jens and Engvert, both of Maquoketa; and four sisters, Mrs. Harry ECKHOFF of Hurley, So. Dak.; Mrs. Clarence ANDERSON of Chicago, Ill., and Mrs. William BECK and Mrs. Gottlieb BECK, both of Maquoketa.
Pall bearers, all nephews, were Leland PETERSEN of Hurley, So. Dak., Clarence ANDERSON, JR., of Chicago, Harvey GRUENWALD and Howard, Glen and Paul BECK all of Maquoketa.
Among the relatives attending the last rites were Mr. and Mrs. Gottlieb BECK, Mr. and Mrs. Engvert PETERSEN, Mr. and Mrs. Jens PETERSEN, Mr. and Mrs. William BECK, Mr. and Mrs. Howard WURSTER, Mrs. Max BOLLINGER, Paul and Florence BECK, Mr. and Mrs. Vernon STAMP, Mr. and Mrs. Glen BECK, Mr. and Mrs. Howard BECK, and Mr. and Mrs. Harvey GRUENWALD.
