MRS. WURSTER
Mrs. Elizabeth (Lizzie) WURSTER, 89, of 216 North Olive, Maquoketa, died Wednesday morning at the Jackson County Public Hospital. Funeral services will be held today, Saturday, June 17 at 2 p.m. at the W. G. Carson and Son Funeral Home in Maquoketa. Burial will be in Mount Hope cemetery. The Rev. Arthur Holtry, pastor of the First Methodist church, will officiate.
Ellizabeth BECK was born Apr. 7, 1878, near Maquoketa, the daughter of John and Elizabeth (KECK) BECK. On July 26, 1899, she married John WURSTER in Maquoketa. He preceded her in death in 1953. She was a member of the Methodist church.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Carl (Pearl) ENGEL, Mrs. Harvey (Alice) ALLISON, both of Maquoketa; two brothers, Henry and Gottlieb BECK, both of Maquoketa; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Her parents, husband, one son, one daughter, three brothers and one sister preceded her in death.
