Mrs. Lizzie Widel, aged 35 years, was found dead in her home in the Second Ward, by her eleven year old son, Monday afternoon upon his return from school. Coroner Ristine was summoned and he empaneled a jury, who upon investigating the case, found that she died of natural causes. She has four children, the oldest a boy of eighteen. She has not been living with her husband for about three years. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Boomershine, Wednesday at 11:00 a.m., with interment at Buckhorn.
