MAQUOKETA — Marion W. Clark, 92, of Maquoketa, died Sunday at Jackson County Regional Health Center, Maquoketa.

Cremation rites will be accorded. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, Maquoketa.

She was born Aug. 24, 1914, near Andrew to Joseph and Myrtle Edwards Wallace. She married Tom W. Clark on Nov. 9, 1931. He died in 1979.

She was a Maquoketa High School graduate.

She was a homemaker and also worked with her husband in his logging business.

She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Maquoketa; Catholic Daughters of America Ct. St. Raphael 1156 and St. Bernadette Circle.

Survivors include her children, Ruth (Clifton) Petersen of Bellevue, Patricia (Tom) Straub of Maquoketa, Karl (Janice) Clark of Bellevue, Michael “Mick” (Carol) Clark of Maquoketa, Kathleen Clark of Long Beach, Calif., Margaret (Robert) Petersen of Lost Nation, Edward “Ed” (Susan) Clark of Maquoketa and Karin (Kenneth) Till of Maquoketa; one daughter-in-law, Theresa Clark of Des Moines; 29 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Margaret Casel of Long Grove, Nadine Eaton of Granbury, Texas, and Janie (John) Ryan of Weslaco, Texas.

Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sons, one daughter, five brothers, three sisters and five grandchildren.
