MAQUOKETA — Helen I. Dick, 86, of Maquoketa, died Monday at her home.

Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, Maquoketa.

She was born June 7, 1921, in Quincy, Ill. Her adoptive parents were the MacAnerny family. She married Ray M. Dick on Sept. 30, 1946, in Kahoka, Mo. He died in 1977.

She was educated in Quincy schools.

She worked with Clinton Engines, Maquoketa, and was a homemaker.

She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Maquoketa.

Survivors include one son, Thomas W. Walsh Jr. of Maquoketa; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

A Helen I. Dick Memorial Fund has been established.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
