Ambrose Depue, 82, of Preston, died at 7 p.m. Monday in his home after being ill for sometime. Friends may call at the Campbell funeral home.
Services wil be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in Preston Methodist Church. Rev. Howard Eldrenkamp will officiate. Burial will be in Preston cemetery, with Masonic rites at the grave.
Mr. Depue was born April 13, 1872, at Miles to the late Benjamin and Emma Cook Depue. He was a retired farmer.
Surviving are the widow, the former Alice Sizer; three sons, Dickie of Kalamazoo, Mich., Merrill of Andover and Ross of Decorah; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one brother, Chauncey, and two sisters, Mrs. Elsie Finch and Mrs. Mathilda Fellows, all of Clinton.
