Harold E. Brown, 66, of Wyoming died Thursday in Jackson County Public Hospital in Maquoketa.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Bragonier-Fay funeral home in Clinton, with burial in Springdale cemetery. Rev. Nevin E. Williams, pastor of Wyoming Methodist church, will officiate. Mrs. W.G. Bockel will be organist and Mrs. Williams will be soloist. Pallbearers will be James Galbraith, Ray Jacobs, Edward Kinney, A.J. Bieber, Thomas Rorah, and Edwin Brunscheen.
Friends may call in the Bragonier-Fay funeral home after 2 p.m. Sunday. Visitation in the Hayden funeral home in Wyoming will be this afternoon and evening.
Mr. Brown was born Jan. 1900 in Boone, the son of George and Alfretta Van Sant Brown. He married Vera Thome, July 17, 1937. He was a machinist for the Chicago North Western railroad and later farmed in the Emeline area for 20 years.
Surviving are his wife; one sister, Mrs. Edna Depue of Clinton; and several nieces. His parents and two sisters preceded him in death.
