DELMAR — Welch, Janet J. 77, of Delmar, died Sunday at the Maquoketa Care Center.

Interment will be in Center Grove Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Don, Keith and Robb Ketelsen, Francis McMahon, Kenny Roeder, Larry Musel and Tim Fischer.

She was born Janet Jane Fallesen on July 30, 1929, in Clinton to Marius and Bessie Boothby Fallesen. She married Wesley Glahn and later Doran Dalton. She then married Lenral Welch on July 30, 1998, in Tama.

She was a homemaker for many years and did bookeeping in her early years at a furniture store in Clinton and a loan company in Cedar Rapids.

Survivors include her husband, Lenral; two daughters, Joyce Christiansen of Colorado and Julie (Tony) Satariano; one grandchild; two sisters, Velma Ketelsen of Sabula and Mary (Kenneth) Boyer of Clinton; stepchildren, Gary (Sharon) Welch, Sandra (David) Gluesing and Teena Hunter; six stepgrandchildren; five stepgreat-grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Jeanette Fallesen of Clinton.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one half sister.
