PROVIN, HOYER, SCHROEDER

Harry Provin,58, World War I veteran, died at 12:45 p.m. Sunday in Hines hospital, Hines, ILL. after a long illness.

Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in the Allen funeral home with the Rev. Forrest G. Clark, Methodist minister, officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery. Pallbearers will be George Ulmer, Harry Miller, Leonard Meyers, Glenn Arrison, Matthias Christensen, and Roy Hartman. Mississippi Post , American Legion will conduct military rites.

The son of Mr. and Mrs. Alonzo Provin, he was born May 10, 1890, in Sabula and had lived here all his life. He served in the army during the first world war.

He is survived by his parents and two sisters, Mrs. Mary Hoyer and Mrs. Peter (Alice) Schroeder, all of Sabula. A brother preceded him in death.
