Lester James

Lester James, 63, of Delmar, died in traffic accident near Maquoketa Saturday.

The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Hanrahan Funeral home, Dewitt with the Rev, Albert Cocke of the United Methodist Church, Delmar , officiating.
Pallbearers will Leonard, Mark, John, Ben, Lavern Burken and Ives Burmahl.
Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Delmar. Visitation is after 3 p.m. today in the funeral home.
Mr. James was born Nov. 11,1919 in Preston , the son of Albert and Dora Ringen James. He was a building contractor. He married Darlene Schrader Sept. 27,1947.
He is survived by his wife; two sons Aaron of Maquoketa and Milan of Delmar, and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister.
