Donna L. Heinzel

MAQUOKETA — Donna L. Heinzel, 73, of Maquoketa, died Friday at Crestridge Nursing Home, Maquoketa.

Private family graveside services and burial will be Wednesday at Mount Hope Cemetery, Maquoketa.

She was born Oct. 12, 1932, in Maquoketa. She married Ralph C. Heinzel on May 29, 1951, in Fairbault, Minn. He died in 2003.

She worked in restaurants as a cook and waitress for many years. She also worked with Clinton Engines, Maquoketa.

She was a former member of Codfish Saddle Club.

Survivors include one son, Keith Heinzel of Clarinda; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son, one daughter, two brothers and one sister.
