Jackson Sentinel August 3, 1893.
The Preston Advance stands suspended until after harvest. It is owned by a banker in Preston by the name of Foster. It is a white elephant on his hands. It is said that Mr. Foster has already paid $3,000 for his newspaper experience. “Experience is a dear school, but fools will learn at no other,” says an old proverb.
