Dangerous Case of Snake Bite-
About a week ago, while binding wheat in Otter Creek Township, Jackson County, a man named Daniel Driscoll was bitten by a rattlesnake on the forefinger of his right hand. The virus spread through his system rapidly, and in a short time his arm and shoulders were terribly swollen. It was feared he could not recover, but through the skill and attention of Dr. Bigelow, of Washington Mills, his life was saved and he is now recovering.
