Frank Zinnell, the Independent Telephone line man, came across the river on the ice with his automobile last week. Frank has the distinction of being the first man to lay a telephone or telegraph cable across the Mississippi at this point or to cross on the ice between Savanna and Sabula with a automobile. But Frank is an all around hustler in anything he goes at.
