Fishing Tackle Official To Company Vice-Presidency.
George W. Adams, manufacturing manager of the South Bend, Indiana, Tackle Company,Inc. and Vice-President of the Fishing Tackle Company of America at Maquoketa has been named Vice-President of the parent concern.
William H. Martindill, South Bend's President and Chief Operating Officer, announced last week that Mr. Adams will make his headquarters in South Bend. He, Mrs. Adams and their two children have resided in Maquoketa since March of 1955. The family has already located in South Bend.
Adams has charge of all the company's manufacturing operations and directs the warehouse and repair departments in South Bend. A director of both the company subsidiaries at Maquoketa and Spencer, Ia., Mr. Adams was formerly works manager of electronics products. Prior to that, he was superintendent of the RCA television plant in Indianapolis, Ind.
