Maquoketa Record, December 26, 1906:
On Wednesday evening last, at the home of Dr. and Mrs. Max L. Wright, in this city, occurred the marriage of Mr. David Wright and Mrs. Mary E. Downey, both of this city. Rev. Malcom Dana, pastor of the Congregational Church officiating. They went to housekeeping at once at the home of the bride on Second Street. Both are highly respected residents of the city and a host of friends wish them a full measure of happiness in the new relation.
