Bellevue Tragedy

Maquoketa Record, June 21, 1905:
John Guenther, who resides six miles south of Bellevue, on a farm, committed suicide this morning, June 15, by blowing his head off with a shotgun. Despondency is assigned as the cause for this rash act. Guenther is about 38 years of age and leaves a wife and several children. Coroner Ristine has been notified of the tragedy. -Bellevue Leader.
