Maquoketa Record, July 25, 1906:
Word comes from Ohio that Miss Flora Priaulx who is visiting relatives in that state is to be married today to Plinney Dell, a Maquoketa boy. The news came as a surprise as no one mistrusted the young couple were to be married at this time. Miss Flora Priaulx is the oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.T. Priaulx, and is one of Jackson County's popular schoolteachers. The groom, Plinney Dell is the oldest son of Freeman Dell of this city, and is an industrious young farmer. The young couple will visit at Beloit, Wis., and other points before returning to Maquoketa. They have the best wishes of their many friends.
