Maquoketa Record, April 25, 1906:
At the Reformed parsonage last Wednesday, April 18th, at 11:00 a.m. William Allie Robbins and Miss Edna Mae Garretson were united in marriage. The bride wore an elegant gown of cream colored brilliantine. The groom is a blacksmith of Maquoketa located on North Olive Street, a skilled workman whose many friends and patrons congratulate him on his new venture in life. The bride is the winsome daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Garretson of near Fulton, Iowa, and will be a helpmate in many ways. They go to the house keeping next week and will be at home to their many friends after May 1st on North Niagara Street. May their lot in life be long, prosperous and happy is the wish of The Record and their many friends.
