A BAD ACCICENT
Aubrey Glaser, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Glaser, was badly injured last Tuesday afternoon while he and his father were preparing to saw wood at their home 5 miles north of Maquoketa on the Andrew road. He attempted to attach the oiler to the engine which was running, his coat was caught in the shaft, and he was thrown over twice by the flywheel before he was released. He struck the frozen ground with such force that his jaw bone was broken, and he was otherwise badly injured, but to what extent it has not yet been learned. He was accompanied to Iowa City Friday by his father, and will remain there for a couple of weeks to receive treatment.
