POPULAR YOUNG COUPLE WED
The marriage of Miss Erma Coverdale, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E.A. Coverdale of Maquoketa, Iowa, to Earl Boyer of Anamosa, Iowa, was solemnized Wednesday, Oct. 14, 1925, at 7 a.m., St. Mark's Episcopal church with the Reverend David Ferguson officiating.
The bride wore an attractive ensemble suit of Queen Bird Blue with gray squirrel trimming, with hat and gloves to match. Her corsage was of yellow roses.
The groom wore conventional black.
Immediately after the ceremony, the wedding breakfast was served to the immediate families at the home of the bride's parents by Iva Morse and Alta Anderson. The table decorations were yellow and white.

The bride is a graduate of Maquoketa high school and attended Iowa State college at Ames. For the past six years she has been the efficient bookkeeper at the Jackson State Savings bank. She is a popular member of many of the city's clubs.
The groom is a graduate of Anamosa High school and attended Iowa State university. He served in the late war and is, at present one of the proprieters of the Anamosa Produce company, which also controls the Maquoketa Produce company. He has won many warm friends since coming to Maquoketa.
Mrs. J. C. Kaufman, mother of the groom, with Mr. J. L. Kaufman of Anamosa and Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Coverdale and son John Jr. of Cedar Rapids were out of town guests.
Immediately after the wedding breakfast the bridal couple left on a motor trip to Indianapolis, Ind., and other eastern points.. Upon their return they will reside in the Mrs. Helen Russell home on North Eliza street.
