ANNOUNCEMENT PARTY
Mr. and Mrs. S.W. Branscomb of Clinton entertained a group of friends at their home, 722 Fourth ave., Wednesday afternoon, at which time the annnouncement of the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Vinola Beatrice, to Lloyd Moritzen of Clinton was made, the wedding to take place June 17th. A dainty luncheon was served at a table prettily decorated with lavender and silver, which are the chosen colors of the bride-to-be. Strings, when drawn up from tiny oaken buckets, brought up small hearts on which were written the two names.
The Branscomb family are well and favorably known here having lived in this community for many years prior to moving to clinton.
