Glen A. Hicks and Miss Florence O'Donnell were united in marriage at Cedar Rapids on Saturday, June 27 (1925), and left at once on a brief honeymoon trip to visit relatives in Ames. They returned last week and have started housekeeping on the groom's farm south of town. Mr. Hicks was born and raised here and needs no introduction, while his bride is a former Maquoketa girl, highly accomplished, and a very efficient teacher the past few years. She will strengthen the teaching force at Elwood in September, having been elected to a position in the grades. Friends are extending all kind wishes to the young people for a happy, prosperous future.
