MARRIED IN CALIFORNIA
A message was received Thursday morning by relatives here telling of the marriage of Miss Murial Hess and Eugene Bowman, which took place June 10 (1925) at 4:30 p.m. in Santa Barbara, California.
The bride is the eldest daughter of George Hess of this city, a graduate of the Maquoketa high school in the class of 1922, and has been a successful teacher since that time.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. J.D. Bowman of this city, and was also a graduate of the Maquoketa schools with the class of 1922, and for the past two years has been employed by the Western Union Telegraph company at Santa Barbara. The happy couple will reside at Santa Barbara, where the best wishes of a host of friends attend them.
