On the morning of August 10th(1875), at the residence of the bride's mother, Rev. Milliken officiating, Mr. James A. Shattuck and Miss Lottie Edwards, all of this City(Maquoketa).
Another union of souls, another linking of fates, another life partnership, in which two are made a happy one, and the future gilded with bright rays of hope and peace. May the journey to the gates of Heaven be as joyous as the embarking for Milwaukee on Tuesday morning.
