James Dunne
James Dunne, of Otter Creek, who had the honor of representing his county in the 13th General Assembly, was nominated for the responsible office of Supervisor. Mr. Dunne represented his township in the old Board almost uninterruptedly from the date of its organization and was always recognized and acknowledged therein as a leader, even when radicalism controlled its action. He was thoroughly conversant with the minutest details of county business, and perhaps no man in the county is better fitted for the place by experience and sound judgment than Mr. Dunne. He is a man of determined and resolute energy and strict integrity, who will labor faithfully., and we believe successfully, to place our county finances upon a better basis than they have been for the past few years. Having no sectional prejudices to gratify, all parts of the county can rely on having "equal and exact justice" so far as his influences shall go. It is of the utmost importance, not only to the county, but for the good of the Democratic party of the county, that he should be elected and-he will be.
