Mr. M. S. Allen, our new Sheriff is winning golden opinions from all parties. In fact Morris is just the man for the position. A good penman, accurate, and possessing the best of judgement, no better selection could have been made. If Mr. Allen is again a candidate at the expiration of his term he will be elected by not less than Five Hundred Majority – mark this prediction.

The County may well congratulate itself that its interests for the current two years have been committed to such worthy and competent hands.
