Mr. Starkey,
I am doing some research on this crew, and my great uncle William C. Gotcher was a gunner on this crew. His body has never been recovered, and I am trying to find out whether the craft has been located, too.

His brother Robert Gotcher is still alive and in California age 95. I plan to visit him in July and would love an opportunity for him to identify his brother if you would not mind sending me the photograph (electronic is fine). I have no photos of Bill Gotcher, but I am happy to share any information I might gain regarding Mr. Smith while I research this crew, including any new photos that might surface.
