Serrin Family / Merengo, Iowa

SERRIN, MCCONNELL, HARRINGTON

I am trying to find info on the SERRIN family who lived in Merengo, Iowa in the 1800's. I would especially like to locate a photo of my g-g-grandfather, John R Serrin who was elected to the Iowa State Legislature in 1866 for Merengo, Iowa County. I have a photo of his wife, Sophronia (McConnell) Serrin, but unfortunately no images of John R Serrin descended in the family. But, I am lucky to have the old family Bible of his parents, John Robinson Serrin and Joanna Harriman!

I also need info on John's son, Lincoln Serrin, who is buried in Old Marengo Cemetery. Other children of John and Sophronia were John R Serrin (my g-grandfather) and Thomas H Serrin.
