'DONALD SHEDENHELM

Graveside service for Donald Levi Shedenhelm, 84, 104 Elliott Street, Salem, Ark. was held Saturday, March 9, at Salem Cemetery, Salem. He died of heart failure at 6 p.m. Tuesday March 5, 1991, at Fulton County Hospital, Salem, where he had been hospitalized three days.

Brother Ralph W. Allmon officiated. Pallbearers were members of the Masonic Lodge.

Donald Levi Shedenhelm was born June 25, 1906, in Marengo, the son of Oliver Fielding and Alice Melinda Slaymaker Shedenhelm. He attended school in Marengo and area.

He married Leona Emma Offt Dec. 25, 1927, in Davenport. They farmed in Hilton Township and had lived in Conroy and Marengo before moving to Salem in 1974.

Survivors include two daughters, Lillian Lorraine Martinson, Salem, Ark., and Shirley Pickett, Houston, Texas; seven grandchildren;' nine great-grandchildren, and one brother, Harold (Busty) Shedenhelm.

He was preceded in death by this wife, April, 5, 1989, his parents, one grandson and two great-grandsons."
