LEW MAHANNAH DIES IN DES MOINES
Lew Mahannah, 63, of Ottumwa, died at Des Moines Wednesday, September 13, at 5 a.m. Funeral services were held Friday at Ottumwa. Mr. Mahannah was born and reared in North English where he married Edna Arthur. He is survived by his wife, one son Harry of Spirit Lake, two grandchildren, a sister, Mrs. Vertie McKinstry, and three brothers: Elmer of Argona, Kansas, Fred of Des Moines, and Allie of Ames. Those attending the funeral from here were Mr. and Mrs. Ambrose McKinstrey, Mrs. Sarah Arthur, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Owen.
