SERVICES HELD
AT VICTOR FOR
MRS. A. PAWLAK

Funeral services for Mrs. Anton, (Augusta) Pawlak, Sr., 68, Victor, were held Dec. 17th at St. James Lutheran church in Victor. Mrs. Pawlak died Dec. 15th at a Grinnell hospital.

Officiating at the services was the Rev. C.H. Schroeder while music was furnished by Mrs. Herbert Neuhaus and Mrs. Richard Bowman with Mrs. Cloyd Lyman as organist. Flower bearers were Mr. and Mrs. Orrin Fetzer and Mr. and Mrs. M.W. Felton.

Pallbearers were Ernest Timm, Rudy Meyer, George Meyer, William Meyer, William Bringmann and Arthur Moller. Interment was at the IOOF cemetery at Victor.

Born in Germany on Jan. 20, 1889, she was the daughter of Albert and Anna Meyer Bringmann. She was united in marriage with Anton Pawlak on March 27, 1910 in Germany and they came to this country just four years later where they settled near Victor.

Mr. and Mrs. Pawlak were the parents of six children: Mrs. Menzo (Agnes) Davis of Williamsburg, Anton Jr., Charles and Johnny of Victor, Henry of Grinnell, and Bernhard who died in infancy.

Survivors include her husband and five children, 10 grandchildren, one brother and one sister.

Mrs. Pawlak was a member of the St. James Lutheran church in Victor and an honorary member of the church's Ladies Aid Society.
