Funeral service for Brian K. Moore, 48, Marengo, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, July 30, at the First Presbyterian Church, Marengo. He died Saturday, July 25, 2015, at his home following a sudden illness.

The Rev. Anni Mingin and the Rev. Diane Vorhies will officiate at the service.

Burial will be in the Marengo Cemetery.

Brian Keith Moore was born June 30, 1967, in Marengo, the son of Larry Robert and Marjean Mary Matt Moore. He graduated from Iowa Valley High School in 1985.

He married Gwen Anne Lane Nov. 18, 1995, at the First Presbyterian Church, Marengo. He was employed with Kinzenbaw Earthmoving and also worked at Kinze Manufacturing for a time. He was a member of the Prairie Tractor Pullers and enjoyed spending time at the Iowa County Fair every year.

Moore is survived by his wife, Gwen; his children, Robert and Darcy Moore, both Marengo; his parents, Larry and Marjean Moore, Marengo, and a brother, Allan Moore, also Marengo.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
